This is Episode Four of the retro computer show BBC MicroLive.
This is the complete episode of Microlive from January 1985 you will have noticed he lack of the December 1984 episode, this is due t the audio being terrible rendering the episode unwatchable. If there is a demand for that episode i can share it with those who want it.

Just found this blog. Now I'm hooked on the whole sentimentality of it all! PLEASE upload more (if you have it) - and if you don't I'm seriously hoping that others will share episodes they might have on old VHS tapes.
May be it _is_ just the sentimentality talking, but there was something very cool about those days. While everything was much simpler, there was real innovation going on, with opportunity to differentiate in both hardware and software. Plus, by and large, the computer users were real enthusiasts, and computers still held a sense of mystery and wonder for many.
Anyway, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for more trips down memory lane :-)
